A proposal Scopello moment unlike any other. At dawn, as the first light of day painted the sea with shimmering golden reflections, Emma and Rabih, a loving couple from Australia, stood facing one of the most romantic backdrops in Sicily: the Tonnara di Scopello. It was there, embraced by silence, sea breeze, and the raw beauty of ancient stone buildings, that Rabih got down on one knee and asked Emma the most important question of their lives.
The proposal at Tonnara di Scopello was more than just a question ,it was a story told through light, emotion, and the timeless charm of this historic Sicilian fishing village. With no crowds around and only the sound of waves crashing gently against the cliffs, the couple shared an intimate moment that seemed to pause time. As a destination photographer in Sicily, I had the honor of documenting their sunrise proposal in Scopello, capturing every teardrop, smile, and golden ray.
