In the heart of Sicily, Wanessa and Karim tied the knot at the stunning Commenda di San Calogero, blending global chic with the cozy vibes of Latin culture. Picture this: just 30 guests, all from New York City but with hearts beating to Latin rhythms, gathered in this enchanting location that feels like it’s straight out of a fairy tale. The day began with Wanessa and Karim getting ready amidst the old-world charm of the Commenda, a venue that’s not just a setting but a vital character in their love story. Then came the vow exchange under the ancient olive trees. These age-old trees stood as silent witnesses while Wanessa and Karim made their lifelong promises, creating a magical moment steeped in history and nature. The reception that followed in the Commenda’s gardens was pure joy, where elegance met heartfelt celebration. With just a small, intimate group, the atmosphere felt like a warm family gathering, bursting with laughter, dancing, and love. The Latin vibes truly brought the energy to life, with music, vibrant colors, and unparalleled enthusiasm turning Sicily into a slice of Latin America. A special thanks to My Sicily Wedding, who transformed the day with oriental veils, carpets, and decor that redefined traditional wedding aesthetics. Floral arrangements by Cannata Opere Verdi added fresh elegance to every corner, while Wanessa’s breathtaking gown, tailored by Alteration Specialists, was a showstopper. This wedding was more than a union; it was a celebration of love and culture, merging international elegance with Latin warmth in a location rich with history and timeless beauty.
